Explanation— The writer W.C. Douglas was says that during his journey, once he alighted on a station, there were several refugee -vendors on the railway Platform. They were selling their articles. Among them, there was a nine year old beautiful girl who was selling a basket with a handle for one and a half rupees. the others arms where full of basket and small fans which he bought from these refugee-venders. The beautiful girl requested the author to buy her basket but he did not need to buy her basket. On the author hand, the girl forced the author to buy her basket. she was pleading with him for its purchase. She her fears her eyes. Her pathelic face and repeated requested melted the heart of the author.
